Monique Gilpin, born in 1985 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, graduated from Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in 2006, majoring in Painting and Photography. She currently resides in Montego Bay, working as the Assistant Curator at National Gallery West, located in the Montego Bay Cultural Centre.
